Recipe of the Week: Graham Cracker Coconut Pecan Bars

Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups flaked coconut
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
4 (1.55 ounce) bars milk chocolate candy
1 (8 ounce) bag chopped pecans

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.

2. In a medium bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and coconut. Pour in the condensed milk and melted butter, mix until well blended. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.

3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove and let cool. Melt chocolate bars in a microwave or over a double boiler. Spread over the cooled bars and add chopped pecans to the top. Chill and cut into squares.

Yield: 16 servings
