The Aurora Art League will hold its 60th annual Members Show Friday and Saturday, Sept. 7-8, at the Santori Aurora Public Library, 101 S. River Street, Aurora.
The show will begin at noon Friday with an artists’ reception from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. The reception will have refreshments and live music performed by John Papadolius.
The show will continue through from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday during regular library hours. Visitors are encouraged to attend.

Sierra Club Fox in Batavia Sept. 10
The Sierra Club Valley of the Fox will meet 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 at the Batavia Public Library where we will welcome Carolyn Burnham of the Batavia Environmental Commission. She will discuss the current efforts of the BEC and other affiliated groups such as river clean-ups, Fabyan Woods Restoration Projects, food waste education, Batavia High School Natural Area Restoration Project, and electric vehicle charging rebates. It will be a great opportunity to learn about all of the different ways you can become active in your community. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.

Glenbard (West) reunion Sept. 21-22
The Glenbard (West) High School Class of 1953 will celebrate its 65th reunion at The Holiday Inn and Suites in Carol Stream on Glenbard West’s Homecoming weekend, Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22. The Class will have a casual get-together both evenings from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.. We invite family, friends, and other interested Glenbard graduates to attend and mingle with real octogenarians.
