Aurora Food Pantry Women’s Mobile Pantry delayed

Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry’s Women’s’ Empowerment Mobile Pantry, a women-only giveaway this week was rescheduled and relocated.

A fourth monthly food and household products distribution was set for Thursday, Feb. 17, at Mutual Ground domestic violence shelter in Aurora.

Rebecca Dunnigan, Pantry outreach and program director, said Tuesday the Pantry will be held indoors from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at Calvary Church of Naperville, 9S200 Rt. 59 in Naperville. Patrons should enter doors 24 and 25 at the northwest corner of the building.

Dunnigan said the changes were made due to expected poor weather conditions this week and potential good weather next week.

Women are invited. Registration and identification are not required. Food items, diapers, formula, baby food and feminine hygiene products will be distributed.
