The Roosevelt-Aurora American Legion Post 84 is hosting their annual “Jim Butler” Golf Outing Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Bliss Creek Golf Course, 1 Golf View Road, Sugar Grove, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m..
“This is our annual event that honors and supports the Veterans in the Aurora community”, stated Commander Mike Eckburg. “Every year we host active duty military and National Guard members to golf for free to show our appreciation for their service.”
All proceeds go directly to Veteran services and support programs. Individuals can sponsor and sign up to golf at Post84.com.
