The City of Aurora, in partnership with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, is excited to announce that the inaugural Chicago Junior All-Star Championship will take place at the Phillips Park Golf Course from June 15 through 18.

The event will feature an elite, 96-player field comprised exclusively of boys and girls ages 12 to 15, continuing the AJGA’s commitment to providing junior golfers with access to premier competitive opportunities. As a Junior All-Star tournament, the championship is designed to help emerging players gain experience in a nationally recognized AJGA setting while competing against peers from across the region.

The Enjoy Aurora Junior All-Star Championship will be supported by a three-year title sponsorship from the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, reflecting the organization’s continued investment in youth sports tourism and junior golf development throughout the Aurora area. Tournament week will begin with an AJGA Qualifier and official practice round Monday, June 15, offering additional competitive opportunities for junior golfers. Championship play will run from Tuesday, June 16, through Thursday, June 18, featuring 54 holes of stroke play. Following Wednesday’s second round, the field will be cut to the top 60% and ties for the final round. For more information about the American Junior Golf Association, visit ajga.org.
