Wesley United Methodist Church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora, will blessed kids’ backpacks Sunday, Aug. 20. Pastor Tammy Scott said the event will take place at 10:30 a.m. worship service. She also invited adults to bring work bags for blessing. Wesley holds Sunday online worship at 9:30 a.m. and in-person worship at 10:30 a.m. The public is invited.
