Bells in Naperville Nov. 15 for awareness

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and November 15 is World Pancreatic Cancer Day. The Joseph C. Monastra (JCM) Foundation will recognize this global effort by sponsoring the illumination of the Moser Tower, 443 Aurora Avenue, Naperville, in purple and Tim Sleep will play the bells Thursday, Nov. 15 at noon and 7 p.m.. The concert will honor actors and actress who have lost their battle to this disease, as well as his brother, who lost his battle last year.

Saving on energy bills at Sierra Club
Melissa Ruvalcaba, outreach coordinator for the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program, will share with us information on how we can save on our energy bills at the meeting of the Sierra Club Valley of the Fox at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 at the North Aurora Public Library, 113 Oak Street, North Aurora.

She will share information on free products for your home and great incentives for energy-efficient equipment. ComEd will come into your home and do a free home energy assessment.
