Dear editor;

I am so sick of these protesters who smash and grab and loot. I am sick of television stations that are not telling the whole story…. They just keep saying the same thing, newscast after newscast. I’m sick of the anal retentives who see the police having a problem and right away they have to get out their phone cameras and start taking movies. They haven’t a clue as to what ensued beforehand, but it must be the cops’ fault. This so-called poor victim was the person that the police were called about! He was not there to try and break up a fight! He disobeyed a court order to stay away from that area! Yet there he was!

My opinion? He must have given the police trouble for them to tazer him twice! Resisting arrest! If he had drugs in his system, causing him to not be affected by the shocks, but continue walking away, what was he doing with three little kids in the car? Driving while under the influence of drugs! Child endangerment! Then this victim of so-called police brutality reached into the car. Perhaps the cop who was holding onto his shirt knew this man, who couldn’t be stopped by two tazers, was still a threat. Perhaps he caught a glimpse of the knife on the floor of the car, and thought he might be stabbed. Perhaps he shot once to protect himself, and again when that didn’t stop that poor victim! Yes, I know, that poor victim was shot seven times.

Cops are human, too. Perhaps he panicked. But the anal retentives who were video-recording all this didn’t see any of this, and then another retentive grabs a bull horn and it’s “Katie, Bar the Door”! Bedlam, and these criminals who just need something like this to damage, loot and destroy property of people who had nothing to do with that situation, have it made!

And for the mayor or chief of police or whoever gave out the cop’s name… what is the matter with you? You put him and his family is serious jeopardy, for doing the job he was sent out to handle by his dispatcher.

And all the sympathy goes to the bad guy!! omething is definitely wrong here!
