Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold their October membership meeting Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meeting will be held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m., and meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
Guest speaker for this month’s meeting will be Jessie Jimenez, holistic wellness facilitator, for The Healing House.
Our Club’s October “Meet and Greet”, organized by media chairperson, Ann McBride, to expose our Club and our mission, will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Panera Bread, 2871 E. Main Street (Rt. 64), in St. Charles.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, healthy meal planning, and our “Diabetic Recipes” booklet.
Don’t miss the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley’s annual gala dinner, “Light the Way for a Cure”, Friday, Nov. 6, at the Lincoln Inn, 1345 South Batavia Avenue, in Batavia. Cocktails (cash bar) at 6:30 p.m.. Filet mignon and breast of chicken dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m..
