Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold their July membership meeting Wednesday, July 8, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meeting will be held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m., and meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
Our Club’s July “Meet and Greet”, to expose our Club and our mission, will be held Saturday, July 11, at the Aurora Farmers Market, from 8 a.m. to noon, 65 S. Water Street, in downtown Aurora.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, healthy meal planning, and our “Diabetic Recipes” booklet.
Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will celebrate our country’s 250th birthday marching in Aurora’s Fourth of July Parade, in downtown Aurora, handing out frisbees to all the children along the parade route.
The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley participated in Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness, Family Health Fair, Saturday, morning, June 27, at their Aurora Health location, 2124 Ogden Avenue, in Aurora. Doctor, Kinsley Jin, from Aunt Martha’s Aurora Community Health Center, will be guest speaker, at our Club’s August 12, membership meeting.
Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley work together, to provide diabetes awareness in the Fox Valley area, while raising funds to provide aid and education for diabetics, along with investing in research to find a cure.
