Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley will hold their June membership meeting Wednesday, June 10, at Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora.
Meeting will be held in the East Banquet Room. Dinner is optional on members’ own from the menu at 5:30 p.m., and meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.. Guests are always welcome!
Guest speaker for this month’s meeting will be Lisa Foydel, from Tri City Health Partnership, in St. Charles.
Our Club’s June “Meet and Greet”, to expose our Club and our mission, will be held Saturday, June 13, at the Aurora Farmers Market, from 8 a.m. to noon, 65 S. Water Street, in downtown Aurora.
Plan on stopping by, meet some of our members, pickup information on diabetes, prediabetes, healthy meal planning, and our “Diabetic Recipes” booklet.
Members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley work together, to provide diabetes awareness in the Fox Valley area, while raising funds to provide aid and education for diabetics, along with investing in research to find a cure.
Why not join our fight against diabetes? You don’t need to be diabetic to be a member of our club! Yearly individual membership dues are $50. Student dues are $25. Corporate dues are $150 per year, which includes a sponsorship listing on our website: www.diabeteshelpnearme.com.
