Dear families,
I recently announced my retirement after 48 years of practice in the Aurora community and surrounding areas. The decision to retire comes with many mixed emotions. I will greatly miss caring for all of you who are like family to me. Little did I realize when I arrived in Aurora in 1970 that I still would be practicing 48 years later and caring for generations of families. I have truly enjoyed being a pediatrician for your children and I cannot express how grateful I have been to provide care for your children and be a part of your lives.

In retirement I am looking forward to spending more time with my wife, Suzanne, who has throughout the years been supportive and a positive force in my life, needless to say.

I look forward to spending more time with our children and grandchildren. I hope to explore new experiences in retirement, including exercising, reading to children in the hospital setting, and daycare settings, and possibly teaching in a clinical setting.

I always wanted to go on a riverboat cruise. I will hang out at Wrigley Field and will make the rounds of all the major ball parks. I will miss you all.
