Soups on at Sandwich VFW Jan. 12
Sandwich VFW Auxiliary will hold its Soups On from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. at the Sandwich VFW, 713 S. Main Street, Sandwich.
The meal will include a 16-ounce bowl of soup, dinner roll, and dessert and $6 carryout’s will be available
Choices of soups are: Chili, cheesy broccoli, chicken noodle, creamy chicken rice, lima bean and ham, and stuffed green pepper.

Be The Inspiration: Rotary Feb. 2
The Rotary Club of Aurora Sunrise will be host to its 17th Annual Wine and Chocolate Experience, at the Stonebridge Country Club, 2705 Stonebridge Boulevard, Aurora, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. All proceeds will help benefit the young people of our community!
The evening’s theme, “Be The Inspiration”, which is the Rotary International focus for 2018-2019.
The Rotary Club of Aurora Sunrise sponsorships include: Educating our youth, Rotary youth exchange, sheltering our youth, and mentoring our youth.
At the Wine and Chocolate Experience, our guests can enjoy a three-hour open beer and wine bar, appetizers and a dinner that includes: A house salad, main entrée of chicken and beef with whipped potatoes and vegetable medley, and delicious warm chocolate lava cake with fresh berries for dessert. We will have a 50/50 drawing, heads or tails, as well as silent and live auctions that round out the evening of fellowship.
The Rotary Club of Aurora Sunrise offers the following sponsorship levels: The ambassador, the diplomat, and the envoy. We are accepting donations of auction item, gift cards, and you can simply become a “Friend of Rotary” with a monetary donation. All donors will be acknowledged at the event.
