Minature Golf Fun Raiser in Yorkville
The Friends of the Yorkville Public Library will be host to its sixth annual Mini Golf FUN Raiser Sunday, Jan. 27. This event will take place on both floors inside the Library. Players hit balls between the book shelves and around obstacles provided by decorators of each hole.
Tickets are $5 per person to play the course. Tickets for mini golf and for the raffle may be purchased on the day of the event.
The Yorkville Public Library is at 902 Game Farm Road.

Be The Inspiration: Rotary Feb. 2
The Rotary Club of Aurora Sunrise will be host to its 17th Annual Wine and Chocolate Experience, at the Stonebridge Country Club, 2705 Stonebridge Boulevard, Aurora, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. All proceeds will help benefit the young people of our community!
The evening’s theme, “Be The Inspiration”, which is the Rotary International focus for 2018-2019.
The Rotary Club of Aurora Sunrise sponsorships includes: Educating our youth, Rotary youth exchange, sheltering our youth, and mentoring our youth.
At the Wine and Chocolate Experience, our guests can enjoy a three-hour open beer and wine bar, appetizers and a dinner that includes: A house salad, main entrée of chicken and beef with whipped potatoes and vegetable medley, and delicious warm chocolate lava cake with fresh berries for dessert. We will have a 50/50 drawing, heads or tails, as well as silent and live auctions that round out the evening of fellowship.
The Rotary Club of Aurora Sunrise offers the following sponsorship levels: The ambassador, the diplomat, and the envoy. We are accepting donations of auction item, gift cards, and you can simply become a “Friend of Rotary” with a monetary donation. All donors will be acknowledged at the event.
