East Aurora Band Booster breakfast Feb. 16
The East Aurora Band Boosters will hold on annual pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16. The all-you-can-eat breakfast will be held in the cafeteria of East Aurora High School, 500 Tomcat Lane. Tickets are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. Please enter through Door #15.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from band students at East Aurora High School.
This year, the breakfast will feature performances by the East High Latin Jazz Band, the East Aurora Jazz Ensemble, Simmons Middle School Band, and the Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy Bands.
Entertainment for the breakfast: 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy 6th Grade Band; 8:25 a.m. to 8:55 a.m., Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy Varsity Band; 9:05 a.m. to 9:35 a.m., Simmons Middle School 6th Grade Band; 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., Latin Jazz Ensemble; 10:25 a.m. to 11 a.m., EA Jazz Ensemble.

Pancake breakfast February 23 in Aurora
Aurora Advent Christian Church, 905 N. Edgelawn Drive, will be host to the 27th annual pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, to benefit Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity. The public is invited.
The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, and orange juice. Admission is $7. Children under 10 are free.
The event is sponsored by the church’s outreach committee.
The breakfast will benefit Faith Build 2019, a partnership of Kane, Kendall, and DuPage Counties faith communities to build a Habitat house in Aurora.
More churches are invited to be partners in the effort. Reverend Jeff Barrett, Habitat executive director and pastor at Genesis Community Church in Montgomery, said Habitat hopes to mobilize 30 churches for the project.
