Physical therapist, Joe King of Physical Therapy Advantage in North Aurora, poses for a photo after speaking to the Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club Wednesday, Feb. 19 about skeletal and muscular health. He gave helpful tips about maintaining correct posture throughout the day to remain pain-free during the aging process. Stretching was discussed, the importance of doing it correctly to avoid injury, stretching several times each day, and how important stretching is in maintaining correct posture. Incorrect stretching, or stretching too forcefully, actually can injure the muscles and/or connective tissue. The Club members found the program informative. The Club meets at 7 a.m. each Wednesday at Mother’s Pancake House. Tom Clark photo
