The Kendall County Salute to Veterans will show its appreciation for all veterans and active duty military by treating them to a free steak dinner, Friday, June 22, at the Kendall County Fairgrounds, 10826 State Route 71, Yorkville. The program will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and dinner will be served until 7:30 p.m., and include a Wartime Sweethearts Review and a 1960s medley.
Tickets for non-military are $30. at the door. Profits will go to the Kendall County VAC for emergency requests and to aid other veteran’s causes in our area. Last year more than 200 veterans from all branches of the service accepted our gesture of thanks, Call 630-272-0686 for more information.
