Kids’ events focal at Plano Community Library

The Plano Community Library, 15 W. North Street, will be host to many events. For more information and to register, visit www.plano.lib.il.us or call 630-552-2009.

• Knit and Crochet Group, Thursdays, 10 a.m. to noon.

This informal group works on its own project, discusses types and colors of yarns, and helps each other with new or tricky patterns. Participants should bring their own supplies. No registration is required.

• Drop-In Job Search & Resume Help, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..

An Illinois WorkNet representative will be available to answer job search questions and provide resume assistance at Study Room B.

• The Library will be closed: December 24-25 and December 31 and January 1, 2019.

Kids events:

Free Movie for Kids, Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., or, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Incredibles 2.

Helen is called on to help bring Supers back while Bob navigates normal life at home. But when a new villain hatches a dangerous plot, only the Incredibles can overcome it together. Rated PG.

All ages, children under six must be accompanied by an adult. Free refreshments served. No registration required. Attendance is limited to the first 80 individuals.

• Glass Art Class, Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., or, 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..

A small glass art project can be made with artist Jeanne Dennis. For independent students in grades sixth through 12th. Call 630-552-2025 to register.
