Loaves & Fishes seeks relationship

Loaves & Fishes Community Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Lynch as vice president of Strategic Partnerships effective November 20. Among her responsibilities, Lynch will establish new relationships to build Loaves & Fishes’ visibility, impact, and financial resources in the organization’s service area of DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will Counties. She will play a key role in the advancement of the Strategic Plan, “Future Strong.”

“The need in our community has grown substantially and we are committed to meeting that need,” said Mike Havala, president/CEO. “Megan brings a wealth of experience and community relationships. We are very excited about her joining our team.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Megan to our Loaves & Fishes staff,” added Nancy Wiersum, executive vice president Advancement. “Her incredible passion for our mission and considerable expertise is a dynamic combination.”

“It’s an honor to join the incredible team at Loaves & Fishes,” said Megan Lynch. “As a board member, supporter, and volunteer, I’ve seen first hand the impact that Loaves & Fishes has for our neighbors.”

Lynch most recently served as manager of the Charitable Fund at Duly Health and Care, where she led grantmaking, community investments, and volunteerism initiatives in collaboration with Duly’s stakeholders and nonprofit partners. Foreign Relations – and got her start working in New York City at the US Mission to the United Nations.

She serves on the Board of Social Responsibility Chicago and served on the Board of Loaves & Fishes.
