Knoch Knolls in Naperville: Terrific Turkeys

The Naperville Park District’s Knoch Knolls Nature Center will be host to Terrific Turkeys November 18 and November 20-22 as part of the Nature Discovery Days program—a series of free, self-guided activities for families.

Easy instructions and materials are available for families to participate in any or all of the following:

  • Learn about turkey wattles, snoods and beards
  • Make a turkey craft
  • Try a turkey caller
  • Play turkey games
  • Read books about turkeys
  • Touch turkey feathers

Please note that no live animals will be present in the room. No registration is required; a parent must accompany children to the event.

Terrific Turkeys will be held in the River Room at Knoch Knolls Nature Center, 320 Knoch Knolls Road, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, November 20-22.
