Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry in Aurora will continue its series of free outdoor cooking classes Saturday, Aug. 5.

Aurora chef Wendy Reed will present “Omelette Brunch” at 10 a.m. in Marie’s garden kitchen at 834 Highland Avenue in Aurora.

Admission and parking are free.

Marie’s Garden is a community garden operated by Charity Blooms, an Aurora nonprofit. Volunteers grow fresh garden produce through sustainable agriculture practices in the garden.

Saturday, July 15, Reed demonstrated preparing risotto and a soup. Copies of recipes are free.

The series will continue with:

  • August 5, 10 a.m., “Omelette Brunch”
  • August 12, 9 a.m., “Benefits and Cooking with Garlic”
  • September 2, 9:30 a.m., “Marinara Sauce: Cooking with Kids”
  • September 2, 11:30 a.m., “Tortilla Pizza: Cooking with Kids”
