Performance consultant Bo Smith presents “Welcome to the Importance of Trust” Friday, July 14. Smith, a consultant with St. Charles-based Strategic Enhancement Group, was keynote speaker at Aurora Business United’s (ABU) monthly gathering at Santori Aurora Public Library. Smith said establishing credibility and empathy are keys to building trust with sales prospects. To gain credibility, he recommended expressing intent to open communications and then demonstrating propriety, competence, and commonality prospects. Empathy, he said, can be achieved by anticipating customer concerns.
