Marmion Academy defeated Burlington Central, 71-58, in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) sectional championship game at Burlington Central, Marmion’s first sectional championship since 1976. Then, Monday, March 6, Marmion was defeated, 60-48, in the Ottawa super-sectional by Metamora Township High School.
