North Aurora resident Nick Dalo, right, expresses concern at the North Aurora Village Board meeting Monday about cars speeding on his street, Westover Road. He requested the Village increase patrols and install speed bumps or flexible chicanes. The Board discussed options available to slow traffic. North Aurora Police Chief David Fisher said patrols in the area will increase.

• The Board approved an update to the abandoned vehicle code. The amendment requires historic vehicles in view of the general public more than 25 years of age be in operable condition. The code currently states vehicles more than 25 years of age are exempt.

• The Board recently approved an ordinance to allow the legal age for a business employee serving alcohol to be changed from 21 to 18 years of age.
