Tired of the same old routine? Stuck in-doors and want to do something different? Then make plans to visit Open Roads ABATE of Illinois, Inc. Chapter Pool Tournament and Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Plano Hometown Lanes (209 W. Main Street). Registration for Pool Tournament is from 11:30 a.m. to noon with the Tournament beginning at noon. $10 donation per person. If you want to enter the Chili Cook Off, please have your chili at Plano Hometown Lanes by noon. There is a $5 donation to enter Chili Cook Off. If you bring chili, you eat for free. Chili will be sampled from noon to 3 p.m. with the chili winner to be announced at 3 p.m.. It should be an exciting full day of fun planned. Proceeds from both events will be a benefit for Open Roads ABATE Chapter for safety and education projects.
