I feel the need to first address Bela “Bill” Suhayda, human to human. My suggestion is for you to let your computer or pen cool and have a nice cup of chamomile tea while reading a good book on Abraham Lincoln. When he wrote he always put it aside even for a couple of days and then went back to it to see how emotions and quick conclusions had got in the way of what he was saying. I learned this from a college professor who returned my papers marked in red that I was sure deserved an A. I suggest you check your sources and reactivity after you and your computer have taken a break. Free speech and poor content are not equivalent.

Now I would like to express my support for Qasim Rashid as a candidate for the 11th Congressional District. Our culture is consumed by sickness physically and mentally and the divide even amongst the elected and the populace is growing. We continue to fall behind as a state and a country in free world education. Even at 75 years old I see a need for a brighter future over the status quo. I believe Qasim Rashid can bring that change to Washington, D.C.. His life experience, his knowledge of human rights and his insights into the current ills of our country qualify him to be a catalyst for change. The corporate world and those of privilege have dominated too long. The common man’s needs go unmet.

We do not need photo opts and checks, we need an advocate who can bring cultural change so we can once again thrive as individuals, families, and communities. One hundred percent capitalism is failing us, and balance is needed. Qasim exhibits knowledge and experience on global issues and how they intersect with our lives.

We all know in our personal lives when something isn’t working it is time to reflect and make a change. This goes for Washington D.C. We do not need radicalization. We need thoughtful change that can bridge divides even within political parties to allow us to thrive as a country and as individuals. I am asking you to vote for Qasim Rashid for the 11th Congressional District.
