Dear editor;
The April 2 election is upon us. Here are my well-researched picks.

Remember, you need not vote for all vacancies. In fact, it helps preferred candidates when you only vote for them. I intend to vote for Wayne Harshberger II, Alison Swanson, and Ruth Kroner for School District 308 Board because I know they are fiscal conservatives.

I will vote no for the School District 308 tax referendum. The administrative staff members in the School District is too large. Unnecessary overhead administrative positions of little value to educating our children need to be cut. Programs such as dual language education need to be cut. If the expenditure isn’t directly related to educating our youngsters properly, it is unneeded. We need to send a message to the School District before our taxes go up again. We need a retired, successful business CEO to head our School District.

I only will vote for Christine Diehl for the Oswego Library District Board because she is not an incumbent and is qualified. All incumbents need to be removed for cause.

I have no recommendations for the Waubonsee Community College trustee.
