Dear editor;
Because I was homeless once with my wife, due to my past wrongs, I would like everyone to understand all the homeless on the streets are not drunks and drug addicts. In my time on the streets, I’ve met amazing people from different backgrounds, different nationalities. I believe if the Bolingbrook community understood this situation, it would understand it can happen to anyone. I don’t expect everyone to agree, I just want to get this issue known, such as how Joliet has good resources. We can use similar things such as warming centers, or places that are open due to harsh weather. God-willing we can get one going here.
I just want others to know we all need each other and I love everyone by my father and lord Jesus Christ and the holy spirit. We can succeed. We need to pull together in these times much more and put aside all things whatever it may be.
