Recipe of the Week: Szechwan Shrimp

Ingredients
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely-grated
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup sliced green onions
8 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound raw shrimp, tails removed

Directions
1. In a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper, ginger. Set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in green onions, garlic, and sesame oil; cook 30 seconds. Stir in shrimp, and toss to coat with oil. Stir in sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.

Yield: 4 servings
