Tammy McCarthy, right, owner of Double Yolk Restaurant in Aurora, in a blue jacket standing next to a man with crutches, created a wonderful day for approximately 400 individuals in need of assistance. A meal was provided and each child at the event was given a present.  There was an opportunity to have a photo taken with Santa for those who chose to partake.

Maddie’s Mitten March, an organization to help those in need of assistance,  gave out warm clothing consisting of approximately 160 coats, hats, and gloves.

Tammy McCarthy gave credit to great community support and the 100 volunteers for making this event a really special day for so many individuals.

The restaurant is at 1555 Butterfield Road in Aurora, just east of Kirk Road.

Great work Tammy and her 100 volunteers for making this occasion a really special day for so many!
