Grace Holistic Center For Education, Grade 7 –

Grace Holistic Center For Education, just a few months ago, presented a school-sponsored performance to the world at the Sandwich Opera House. Every grade from preschool to high school participated. The students based their performances on the theme zombies.

The group of younger children, which consists of preschool to second grade, performed an original song called the apocalypse song, the thriller dance, a number of non-original songs, and zombified versions of certain songs.

The grade school students performed in their own skit. The skit was about how children are zombies because of phones. The group of children in middle school and high school did a cover of Zombie by The Cranberries.

In addition, a mixed group of grade school, middle school, and high school students performed two dances and two skits. One of these skits was set in detention and a zombie let them play video games. He did this to make there brains mush so they would taste better.

All of these performances aided by a diverse age group made for a very interesting show. Even with all the differentiating age groups the show manages to keep a consistent vibe throughout. This show was held in Sandwich Opera House. The location provided a great environment for students to show what they had been working on for so long. The masterminds behind the show were Mr. Steve and Ms Arielle, with help from other staff members.

In conclusion, the school put on a well-received show, gave the kids a truly beautiful opportunity to present to the world what they worked on for such a long time, and gave the show the space it needed to thrive.
