Historical mayor autographs his bobblehead: Mayor of Aurora, Richard Irvin, poses with Andrew Hamilton from Aurora with an autographed bobblehead Friday. The Aurora Historical Society gift shop at the Pierce Art and History Center, was open as a participant of Downtown Aurora’s First Friday, Feb. 1. Irvin made history in 2017 when he was elected as the City’s first African American mayor. The bobblehead sells for $30 plus tax in time for African American History Month.
