Effects of bad weather: The arctic cold and snow fall this week, following warm temperatures in December 2018, can have a negative effect on travel and transportation means. This truck finds a place on the side of the road recently on Lake Street in Aurora in need of assistance. Frigid temperatures this week ranged into the minus 20 degrees-plus with wind chills close to nearly minus 50 degrees, Weather forecasts for the weekend were for temperatures to be above 45 degrees with rain the help wash away some of the snow.
